Matt’s introduction to fabrication was during his high school summers working on kitchen renovations in his hometown of New Orleans. He went on to receive his Bachelors in Architecture from Louisiana State University with semesters spent in Paris & Washington D.C.
During his architecture education, Matt spent four years working at a small firm focusing on restaurant design. Upon graduation in 2011, Matt accepted a position to teach undergraduate architecture studio & technical courses in Punjab, India. It was here that he met Christian and formed the relationship that would evolve into Drophouse.
Matt is involved in the management of every project with a particular focus on the business aspects of Drophouse. He is in a constant search for new challenges to grow from, making Drophouse and its team a perfect match. That being said, he rarely ends up getting his hands dirty beyond the confines of a kitchen.
