2018 AIA | Los Angeles Restaurant Design Award Winner
In coordination with Michael Hsu Office of Architecture, Drophouse built all wood and metal work in this modern mexican themed restaurant featuring a catenary barrel vault with over 33,000 feet of 1-1/2" stripes of Texas Vertical Grain Pine. Private Dining Rooms include steel and ash wall system with copper wire infill panels. At kitchen pass thrus, steel and pine cabinets with copper infills also host HVAC system, all suspended from ceiling. Banquettes, lighting, shelving, tables, doors, bathroom vanities, outdoor patios, planters and screens also round out the list of custom items built by Drophouse.
